Truth be told, after losing out on Noel and Sheryl, I felt too dejected to do the auction thing properly. Maybe I'll take a look over the weekend for a kit or 2 but most will probably be gone by then. Looks like this WF will be a bust for me. On the plus side, I saved a small packet so maybe I should put it aside and try to get to the event next year!
I do like that Asuka tho. And I'm a Rei fan! Please say he'll do a Rei afterwards!!
And I'm guessing your mystery kit from last year was the ushio and tora one! Wait, that was only in Feb...

Dude I have spent so much hard earned cash this event (most because of YJA) I don't know what to think anymore. It's as though I unleashed something crazy the moment I won my first auction.

What exactly do you want to know? I can tell that the kit is from a group called moonlighter and she was on sale at WF for 10,000 yen.
They also did a rather peculiar looking Rei, with a plugsuit which looked somewhat armoured.
@Johnson: yeah, I meant the millimeter one. Really does look like it'll be a stunning asuka! And if the kit isn't one of the Ushio and Tora kits, then I'm guessing it was that other asuka kit you seemed to really like back then. Didn't realize you were such an Asuka fanboy!

You got it! And to be honest I didn't either lol. Rei was always my favorite back then but now as an adult she's lost a lot of her appeal.
So yeah I was referring to the Japanese sculptors as a whole when I made that Asuka craze comment (not myself).

No problem. The group name is actually in one of the links as well, although I didn't notice until I posted. It was just luck that I was looking at some pages where the sculptors were named and I recognised the pic.
And I knew it had to be one of the 2 cos you really made some noise about them at the time during our discussions about what we liked and were going to get.
And I put the new Asuka craze due to 1) sympathy after the events of the 2nd movie and 2) that new plugsuit (which I personally find very ugly) But I will always be a Rei fan. She was my first anime crush and you never forget your first!! Having said that, I don't have a Rei GK and the only asuka one I have is the vispo racer girl. I hope the Mr Surprise Rei turns out well tho!
Nothing on the auctions now it seems so if the Asuka does look really nice, I have some funds to play with. Or I can try and go to Japan next august and visit the Makuhari Messe. Best to go in the summer methinks. Weather will be a killer but the event will be bigger than the winter one, which is on the 6th Feb it seems!
Man I can't wait for the 3rd and 4th movies to come out. I'm planning to spend one good afternoon watching all 4 back to back.

Yeah the post-convention shenanigans ended pretty early this time around. It's nice though - I'm getting a little tired of going through 60+ pages of listings every day.
